The Czech Republic (CR) is a small land locked Central European country in temperate zone with long tradition of fish breeding that goes back to deep Middle Ages. The recent CR is situated on the territory of three historical parts: two lands (Bohemia, Moravia) and the part of historical land Silesia. Landscape is a combination of hilly and flat areas. Bohemia is surrounded by ring of mountains in contrast to Moravia that forms a pass between mountains from south to north. The territory is situated on watershed of three different seas: North Sea, Baltic Sea and Black Sea. It is a spring area of big European rivers (Elbe and Odra) and tributaries of Danube. All rivers leave CR as relatively small streams. The mentioned area misses a big river, natural lake with some importance and of course a sea. Due to Christianity fish was in some certain parts of the year the only food that was aloud to eat. Therefore demand for fish was eminent in those times. The only possibility to get fish for f
