    The effect of 24 ? epibrassinolide on gases exchange of wheat

    The results show that the photosynthesis rate was the lowest in the stressed plants (8.01 ?mol CO2.m-2.s-1) and was the highest in the control group (9.48 ?mol CO2.m-2.s-1). The lowest transpiration rate was identified in the stressed plants: 0.95 mmol H2O.m-2.s-1, while the highest one was identified in the control plants (1.03 mmol H2O.m-2.s-1). The application of 24?epibrassinolide at stress conditions has positive effect on the photosynthesis of the stressed plants but level of values of the controltreatment weren?t obtained. The cultivars AC Helena, Samanta are tolerant to the drought and high temperature in comparison with Estica a Lucia which have low level of tolerance. The best reaction of cultivar to the application of phytohormone has at cv. Mollera and on the other hand without any influence was obtained at cultivar Samanta (stress tolerant cultivar).
