The aim of the small plot trials (performed during years 2005 ? 2006) was to verify possibilities of decreasing or elimination of yield losses and sugar beet technological quality by using lower and frequent doses of verified herbicides (herbicide combinations) with preservation of efficiency on weeds. Variant with lower doses and with more frequent application of Betanal Expert and of Goltix Top reached the most favourable results of all herbicide combinations. Variants with lower and frequent doses ofherbicide reached (regarding efficiency on weeds) comparable (or better) results in comparison with traditional system of applications.
