An american invasive turtle Trachemys scripta elegans was imported to Czech Republic for sale in pet-shops. This paper reports new observation of this species in wild nature on the territory of Bohemia: Přelouč, Slavíkovy ostrovy, Elbe arm (50°03´04.88´´N,15°33´32.76´´E), 19 July ? 7 August 2008. The potential impact of this invasive species in nature of Czech Republic is comment.
