Original language description

Palaearctic species of the Rhamphomyia subgenus Holoclera are revised. Rhamphomyia (Holoclera) bistriatella sp.n. (Spain), Rhamphomyia (Holoclera) bohemica sp.n. (Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Finland, Sweden), Rhamphomyia (Holoclera) helvetica sp.n. (Spain, Switzerland), Rhamphomyia (Holoclera) portugalica sp. n. (Portugal), and Rhamphomyia (Holoclera) subvariabilis sp.n. (Russia - Caucasus) are described and illustrated. A key to the Palaearctic species of Rhamphomyia(Holoclera) is provided.
