Original language description
The common spadefoot (Pelobates fuscus) is an anuran species occurring in most of Europe. This species is considered as severely threatened in the Czech Republic. Moreover, the areas with its confirmed occurrence are protected by law. The distribution monitoring of this species is therefore essential to provide an appropriate conservation measures. Herein we report two records of P. fuscus on Šáchovec pond after almost three decades.
