Original language description
Poppy seed was grown organically and experimentally on a certified organic area in Prague-Uhříněves and Budyně nad Ohří from 2010 to 2011. Trial variants were randomized in four repeats. Harvest parcel size was 10 m2. Impact of various microorganism-based fungicides on crop stands, health of plants and the final yield was studied: Polyversum (Pythium oligandrum), Supresivit (Trichoderma harzianum Rifai) and Gliorex (mixture of Clonostachys rosea and Trichoderma). Seed treatment (itself or combined with the physical treatment) had a positive effect on the yield. It is difficult to interpret the results, as there is a lack of information regarding interactions between seeds, microorganisms used for the seed treatment and the land environment. Therefore, this issue has to be explored more nowadays and in the future.
