New or interesting records of the flies (Diptera, Brachycera) from Finland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, European and Asian parts of Russia, the Czech Rep. and Slovakia are presented. Tachydromia bimaculata (Hybotidae) is a new record for the Palaearctic, and Zuskamira inexpectata (Sepsidae) is a new record for the East Palaearctic. Spilogona orthosurstyla and Coenosia stigmatica (Muscidae) are new records for Central Europe. Other interesting records include the families Empididae, Piophilidae, Anthomyiidae and Tachinidae.
