The restrictive effect of soil acidity on spring barley productivity
Original language description
Soil pH level has a significantly influence upon the spring barley productivity. Depresive function of low pH level did not eliminate supply of nitrogen fertilizer becouse their gradated rates increased difference between yield in neutral and in acid soil. Plants used fertlizer nitrogen by 39 - 44 %, fixed in soil 27 - 37 % and its losses amounted 23 - 31 % in neutral soil and plants used fertilizer nitrogen by 24 - 28 %, fixed in soil 13 - 15 % and its losses amounted 59 - 61 % in acid soil.
