    Evalution of properties of plough shares made from steel and polymers was performed by comparison abrasion test. Test was made using abrasion tester with abrasive cloth under conditons defined by standard ČSN 01 5084. The best wear resistence was reachedat material 13 240. Wear resistance of polymer "S" UHMV - PE was considerably lower.
