Electric power consumption controllers
Original language description
The ever-growing trends in prices for electric power along with the current increase in consumption motivate power engineers to implement certain austerity measures and to seek further possibilities of reducing the consumption of electric power. A strictadherence to the contractual values of the consumption curves, including the arranged peak values, will positively affect the costs per production unit and the overall economy of a company. High-quality consumption controllers will help consumers achieve considerable financial savings. The authors of this paper introduce the methods of measuring electric work, output and synchronous time by the use of various types of consumption controllers. This is an analysis of consumption control, confrontation ofdifferent control algorithms, allocation of output and an introduction to the properties and function of consumption controllers, including the critical criteria for selecting the proper type of controller.
