The paper concisely describes and demonstrates possibilities of processing, utilization and evaluation of computer based maintenance system data aiming to increase of quality and effectiveness of maintenance system. The data in the example were obtainedfrom machine works where the computer maintenance management has been used for the last five years. The presented example is focused on the evaluation of maintenance costs from two points of view ? history of the machine maintenance within four years ofits operating time and evaluation of maintenance management system.
