Impact plate for the instantaneous material feed rate measurement during the work of rotary mowing machine was developed on the Department of Agricultural Machines in collaboration with the Department of Machines Utilization. On the base of carried out tests under laboratory conditions it is possible to recommend this device for infield evaluation. It was find during laboratory tests that the slope of impact plate influence accuracy of the measurements. The slope of impact plate can be changed during the work of the machine under normal working conditions (for example harvest of inclined fields etc.). It was necessary to equip measurement device by slope sensor. Slope sensor works on the principle of pendulum moved in oil reservoir. For adequate correction of signals from impact plate it was necessary to understand the influence of the different slope angle to these signals. It was find during our measurements that in the range of slope between ?350 and +350 the influence of the slope
