Monitoring of Spatial Variability of Soil Properties and their Interrelationships
Original language description
The main aim of this research was the monitoring of spatial and temporal variability of soil properties. Standard methods were used for soil biological and chemical properties determination. Variability of soil properties was evaluated by indirect measuring methods as well. The soil samples were taken from the points in the regular square grid. Results obtained were processed by using of statistical and geostatistical methods. Local, spatial and temporal stability was found for the biological and chemical properties and for the results from indirect measurement methods. Variograms, cross-variograms and their parameters were used for the description of spatial dependencies between observed parameters. Meaningful dependencies were observed between monitored soil properties and results from indirect methods of the soil properties measurement. Furthermore, a new sharp edge shape of a portable soil sampler has been developed in this project.
