Innovative low concentration PV systems with bifacial solar panels
Original language description
Three different Low Concentration PV (LCPV) systems with bifacial PV panels were developed. Design of these systems is described in the article. The daily energy production of pseudo parabolic concentrator systems was enhanced by up to +167% in comparison with standard fixed PV panels. The operating temperature of PV panels in summer was +95 C so the silicone gel encapsulation technology was used to avoid reliability troubles.
