STUDY OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF THE UDS 214 EXCAVATOR HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Original language description
The paper deals with the comparison of the energy consumption of hydraulic systems for controlling the moves of the UDS 214 telescopic excavator. To compare energy losses in the hydraulic circuits for controlling the UDS 214 excavator moves, the flow rates of hydraulic oil were measured with a Hydrotechnik MultiSystem 5060 digital meter in these hydraulic circuits. Firstly, for the state of the UDS 214 excavator before the hydraulic system upgrade and then for the state of the excavator after the hydraulic system innovation. For the each hydraulic circuit, the hydraulic oil flow rates between the Bosch Rexroth A8VO107 double axial piston pump and the Bosch Rexroth 7M8-22 manifold were measured firstly and subsequently between the manifold and the appliance. The total power losses of the individual hydraulic circuits were then determined from the values measured in this way and applying a number of calculations. From these calculated power losses, the efficiency of individual hydraulic circuits was ev
