Historical changes in the landscape occurring during the last century have markedly influenced and modified the environment of man, livestock and wildlife. In the course of a historically short time some changes took place which decreased food supply ofgame and reduced the fulfilment of their vital requirements. The cause of the changes in the landscape consists particularly in changes in agriculture and forest management. These changes are not caused only by changes in areas of two main types of the environment (ecosystems) but above all by changes in their structure.
