Dynamika horského lesa ? jakou roli hraje vítr a lýkožrout smrkový?
Original language description
The aim of this paper is the reconstruction of disturbance regime of mountain spruce forest based on the historical evidence about the occurrence of strong winds in the Bohemian Forest in the past centuries. Based on this historical evidence, winds werein the past always one of the most important factors, that have formed the dynamics of mountain forests. The interaction between the wind and bark beetle disturbance seems to be also essential for understanding of disturbance regimes of these forests. Based on these findings, it is obvious, that revision of current approach of assessing of forest dynamics of mountain forests is needed. Is second part of this paper, the preliminary results on the historical development and stand structure of the forest in the second zone of the Šumava NP are prezented. The aim of the study was to answer questions concerning forest history, forest naturalness and bring suggestion for future management. The analysis of the historical management plans, time
