Original language name
Změna počtu generací lýkožrouta smrkového (Ips typographus) v oblasti Kysuckých Beskyd a Oravy v důsledku očekávané změny klimatu
Original language description
Analysis of bark beetle development was based on the model PHENIPS. In the reference period, spruce stands in the Kysuce and Orava Beskids were distributed almost equally within regions allowing for the development of one or two generations of bark beetles. The third generation was, on average, not able to develop in this period. The one-generation regime was observed marginally in the highest elevations of the Kysuce Beskids, while such regime dominated in the Orava Beskids. In the near future climate,a two-generation regime is projected to dominate in more than 90% of all spruce stands in the region. The three-generation regime is expected to dominate over a great part of the current distribution of spruce in the Kysuce Beskids in the distant future.
