Original language description
The family Dermestidae (Coleoptera) actually contains about 1400 species and subspecies worldwide, including 26 species known to occur in Pakistan (Chaudhry et al. 1966, Hashmi & Tashfeen 1992, Háva 2007). One species recently collected in Balochistan province in Pakistan is newly recorded. The presented specimen was collected in Zangi nawer, a small village in Naushki, at light.
