Original language description
The genus Chalcogenia Saunders, 1871 was recently revised by Bílý (2008) and a further two species were described subsequently by Novak (2009) and Bílý (2012) so that the genus currently contains 38 species and 2 subspecies treated in 3 species-groups (Bílý, 2008). Another species was discovered recently in Ethiopia and it is described in the present paper. The number of Chalcogenia species increases now to 39 species and 2 subspecies.
