Application of vortex-assisted liquid-liquid microextraction for determination of three carbamate pesticides in food samples
Original language description
Carbamate pesticides are widely used in agriculture to protect plants from insects, diseases, and weeds. Among commonly used herbicides in the European Union are desmedipham, phenmedipham and chlorpropham. They have low toxicity, but upon their entry into a water system, they may reach non-target plants and cause adverse effects. In order to control a trace amount of selected pesticides in food samples, a vortex assisted liquid liquid microextraction followed by high performance liquid chromatography with amperometric detection on a glassy carbon electrode was developed.
