Original language description
In this work, a novel dispersive liquid liquid microextraction procedure was developed for the determination of ergosterol using high performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detection. The effect of several parameters, such as the selection of extraction and dispersive solvents and their volumes, extraction time, salt concentration and, pH, were studied. The developed method was applied for the determination of ergosterol as a biomarker of mycorrhizae presence in Norway spruce roots and various fungi samples.
