Methodological principles of classification of landscape vulnerability and feasibility of development projects
Original language description
One of the starting points for the economic and social development of regions and the country is designing, verifying and then implementing processes that will allow classifying the limits of ecological vulnerability of the landscape and the feasibilityof development strategies and specific projects. The submitted classification follows onto the existing approaches usable in the stated direction and onto the actual results and experiences of the author and teams of his co-workers, contained in the quoted pilot studies, which illustrate some possible procedures verified in practice. The main purpose of the submitted work is to establish an open and flexible system for evaluation of landscape vulnerability as basic landscape classification for expert support of decision-making and for use in University tuition in branches of applied landscape ecology.
