Changes of landscape heterogeneity described by Simpson diversity index - Czech Republic The map collection falls under results of multiyear research focused on changes of landscape structure. Individual maps represent (i) landscape heterogeneity of theCzech Republic in years 1990, 2000 and 2006, and (ii) changes of the heterogeneity values among the years. The heterogeneity, described by Simpson diversity index (SIDI) was computed using Python script for ArcGIS 9.3. Vector layers of Corine Land Coverdatasets served as input data.
