Aspects of woody vegetation presence of the Czech agricultural landscape functionality
Original language description
Three model areas representing variants of agricultural landscape were assessed ? Decinsko, Pisecko, Kourimsko. By use of geographical information system (GIS) and methods of remote sensing data concerning these areas variability of non-forest and forestwoody vegetation were assessed with regards to temperature which is considered to be one of ecosystem functioning indicators, thus also indicator of landscape functioning. Temperature data were derived from satellite scene of Landsat 7 captured in vegetation season in 2013. Land use layers of model areas were created based on field mapping in 2014. The layer of land use and temperature were interconnected by use of GIS. Values of temperature and presence of forest and non-forest woody vegetation were assessed by statistical analysis to find out, if presence of the two woody vegetation categories significantly affects temperature values.
