This output includes four educational videos that present the main traditional methods of forest management (i.e. pollarding, litter raking and coppicing) that are now experiencing a renaissance in the practical protection of forest biotopes and open landscapes. The significant decline in forest biodiversity is not only due to inappropriate management, such as planting monocultures or excessive game, and eutrophication of the landscape, but also to the retreat of traditional forest management methods, which were quite common at the beginning of the last century. It is aimed at all those interested in the protection of forests, especially the various representatives of practical conservation, but also students and the general public. The original language is English, but Czech and Norwegian titles are also available.
