This article deals with introduction of innovation in Forestry and with research of innovative potential in Czech Forestry. The data in the article comes from wide public inquiry among forest owners and users in the Czech Republic. From the total numberof 192 answers 59 respondents have implemented innovation in the last 3 years, i.e. 30,7 %. Implemented innovations were following: technological (20,3 %), recreation and other services (16,9 %), wood products (13,6 %), cooperation (11,8 %), intra-plant(10,2 %), outsourcing (6,8 %) and environmental services (3,4 %).
