Original language description
The article compares time distribution of surface runoff estimated by different methods. There are three basic approaches to separate the part of rainfall, which creates the surface runoff: using a runoff coefficient, the CN curves and infiltration approaches. The separation of surface runoff was computed by numerical solution of Richards equation (SWAP model) and the results of this solution were compared to methods, which do not need as detailed input data (the CN method, Green-Ampt model). The results showed, that the simpler approaches get good enough results for flashflood modelling.
