    There were made counting of bird communities of forest ecosystems in the former Military training area Ralsko during nesting seasons 2002 - 2003. 93 transects was estimated by standart line method. In total 50 bird species were recorded in the study area. The composition of the bird community is formed, to a large extend (61,3 %), by 6 dominant species: Fringilla coelebs (20,4 %), Regulus regulus (9,4 %), Parus ater (9,2 %), Erithacus rubecula (9,1 %), Phylloscopus collybita (7,4 %), Sylvia atricapilla(5,8 %). Bird species diversity dependence on diverzity of biotops was verify by statistic analysis.
