This paper describes the results of a research that is focused on an evaluation of even-aged nearly pure Norway spruce stand transformation on the School Forest Enterprise territory in Kostelec nad Černými lesy. This conversion is made by the differentiated regeneration that was started nearly 30 years ago. Tree species composition change is ensured by combine ? artificial and natural regeneration. More size and age diversification of the next forest stand will be achieved by the long-term final cutting. The Final cutting is based on an individual tree selection. The culmination of mean annual volume increment is the main criterion of individual trees felling maturity, according to Poleno?s idea.
