    First record about the golf course in the Bohemia is known from Karlovy Vary (1904). Another old and famous golf course was situated to the locality Klánovice by Prague (the beginning of the thirtieth years of the last century). The popularity of the golf as the game increased rapidly in the last fifteen years. The golf courses are due its specific water regime, vegetation composition and chemical maitenance very specific landscape element. The Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is needed by the construction of new golf courses or its renovation. The two EIA were provided in our example: the construction of new golf course on the place of the former rocket base by the town Beroun and reconstruction of the historical golf course in Klánovice by Prague. The construction of the new golf course on the rocket base was used as the possibility for revitalization of this place. The soil from the building of the close situated new highway was used to cover the destructed plots of the rocket
