Evaluation of the role of temporal rainfall distribution in runoff process
Original language description
Temporal rainfall distribution plays important role in formation of runoff hydrograph in watershed. Presented contribution is dealing with assessing the influence of rainfall temporal distribution on flood hydrograph in small mountain basin in Czech Republic. Two big flood events have been chosen for calibration of rainfall disaggregation model and event based runoff model. Rainfall disaggregation model was used for simulation of hyetograms ensemble. rainfall model follows wavelet theory and VRF functions. Model enables to simulate artificial temporal rainfall profiles with preservation of variance and mean of chosen original data. These ensembles are direct inputs to event based runoff model. Event based runoff model consists from three components. First describes fast response of basin and second show slow response. Fast response of runoff model is based on numerical solution of set of St. Venant equations. Presented solution results from diffusion wave approximation. Second response
