Original language description
Taking into consideration art theory of one of the prominent post-war Czech art historians Jindřich Chalupecký, the text focuses on how complex and complicated role played Czech and Slovak women artists on local ar scene from the 1960s through the 1970s.A special attention is paid on how Chalupecký?s understanding of ?aftermodern? (postmodern) art overlaps with the work of a Slovak artist Mária Bartuszová, namely with her effort to undermine through her organic sculptures the dominance of instrumentalreason, industry and technology.
