Study of the mass-transfer phenomenon in the cascade of Vertically Moving Particle Bed cathodes
Original language description
Application of the three?dimensional (3D) electrodes represents the most widespread way for electrochemical treatment of diluted solutions. This is mainly because of high specific mass-transfer rate and thus enhanced efficiency of the process. Mass transfer in the rotating 3D electrode was studied using copper deposition reaction as a model system. Hydrodynamics of the electrolyte flow through the cell was evaluated.
