Lecture: The bubble effect on the redox state of glass
Original language description
The time-temperature history of glass melt may influence its redox state and consequently, the refining ability, glass reboiling or melting of recycled glass. The melt history is projected into glass redox behavior through interaction between bubbles andglass melt along glass trajectories through the glass furnace. Modeling of this effect requires knowledge of both bubble and redox component distribution in the melting space.
