Original language description
Artificial stone based on epoxy resin binder was in 70th and 80th often used for preparation of copies of stone works of art ? statues, reliefs and architectural elements. Due to unsuitable technology, that was used some of this objects are not in good state and additional consolidation is required. For this purpose mainly epoxy resin are suitable. Application of resin solution in organic solvent can cause swelling of original binder and for this reason can bee danger for artificial material.

Czech description
Umělý kámen pojený epoxidovou pryskyřicí byl v 70. a 80. letech často používán jako materiál pro zhotovování kopií uměleckých děl - soch, reliéfů a architektonických článků. Díky použití nevhodné technologie jsou dnes některé kopie ve špatném stavu a vyžadují dodatečné zpevnění. Pro tento účel je možno použít např. roztoky epoxidových pryskyřic, avšak přítomná rozpouštědla mohou botnat původní pojivo a tím představují nebezpečí pro ošetřovaný objekt z umělého kamene tohoto typu.
