TiO2 and WO3 thin films: characterization, adsorption and photocatalytic degradation of oxalic acid and methylene blue
Original language description
Thin transparent TiO2 and WO3 layers have shown photocatalytic activity in the decomposition of water pollutants and are promising candidates for wide-scale applications. By immobilization of TiO2 and WO3 films on a glass substrate separation proceduresand a loss of catalyst can be avoided. Our approach is to spin-coat several layers of oxide onto glass or quartz substrates (overlayer thickness 30 to 1000 nm) and to examine their photocatalytic activity for the decomposition of different contaminents ("model waste water!), such as oxalic acid and methylene blue under sunlight and artificial light.
Czech name
TiO2 a WO3 tenké filmy: charakterizace, adsorbce a fotokatalytická degradace kyseliny šťavelové a methylenové modři
Czech description
šťavelové a methylenové modři.
