Comparing of reaction course of Kola apatite and Kovdor apatite with orthophosphoric acid
Original language description
Sufficiency of high-quality phosphate raw materials is and will be an important factor in the manufacture of phosphorus fertilizers by traditional technologies. The only industrial sources of phosphorus are natural apatites and phosphorites. Apatite concentrates are very requested raw materials. Kovdor apatite suggests itself from recently opened deposit, along with high-quality raw material Kola Super apatite. This kinetic study was performed for the assessment of Kovdor apatite using in decompositionin orthophosphoric acid. It is a reaction between liquid and solid phase, which is led so that insoluble products do not rise in system. Acceptable model simplifications are used for description of relatively complicated heterogeneous non-catalytic reaction system. All experiments were carried out in the batch isothermal stirred reactor for the initial phase of the decomposition with narrow fraction of particles. Sufficiently great excess of orthophosphoric acid ensured its constant conc
