Original language description
Equal-Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) is a promising severe plastic deformation technique for preparation of ultrafine-grained and nanocrystalline materials. The aim of this work is to find the dependence between ECAP processing conditions and final microstructure of aluminium alloys based on Al-Mg-Sc. The microstructure (the grain size as well as presence and distribution of intermediary phases) and crystallography were studied by light and electron microscopy (TEM, SEM-EBSD).
