This work is devoted to the description of the properties of Ti-Al-Si and Fe-Al-Si alloys. In both systems, the dependence of hardness and abrasive wear resistance on silicon content was studied. High-temperature oxidation resistance was determined by cyclic oxidation tests at 800°C.
