Original language description
The feeding process was investigated with the aid of a physical model of a standard plunger feeder. The proposed model of the feeder simulates all the investigated technological parameters well. It was found that physical modelling gives the possibilityto obtain technological data necessary for the verification of new feeder design and the assessment of the impact of proposed modifications of gobbing programmes.
