STANOVENÍ VELIKOSTI SPECIFICKÉHO POVRCHU PALLADIA V HYDROGENAČNÍCH KATALYZÁTORECH CHEMISORPCÍ OXIDU UHELNATÉHO

  • Original language description

An app. for dynamic chemisorption measurement was built and a reliable exptl. methodol. based on detn. of the sp. surface area of Pd (SPd) and the av. particle size of Pd (dAV) in hydrogenation catalysts was developed using chemisorption of CO. Exptl. conditions necessary for providing reproducibility of measured values were defined. The accuracy of the detn. was verified by independent characterization techniques and by comparing chemisorption measurements of catalysts with the known characteristics. It was proved that the dAV of Pd in the catalysts contg. 2-5 wt.% Pd on com. supports (Al2O3, active carbon, SiO2, Al2O3-SiO2), obtained by chemisorption measurements are in a good agreement with the results of other methods, the stoichiometry of CO adsorption on Pd being 1:2.
