Strong cation exchange chiral stationary phase - A comparative study in high-performance liquid chromatography and subcritical fluid chromatography
Original language description
The aim of the study was to compare the properties of a new strong cation exchange-type (SCX) chiral stationary phase (CSP) in HPLC and SFC mode. We found that the new SCX CSP allows for effective enantiomer separation of variety of chiral amines in bothHPLC and SFC mode. For some analytes we achieved higher efficiency of the column in the SFC mode. Additionally, we described properfies of in situ formed buffer species created upon reaction of supercritical CO2 with methanolic modifier containing a basic additive.
