  • Original language description

    Extraction experiments in the two-phase water/nitrobenzene system and gamma-activity measurements were used to determine the stability constant of the sodium ionophore III-Ag+ complex dissolved in nitrobenzene saturated with water as 10(6.8 +/- 0.2). Quantum mechanical calculations were applied to predict the most probable structure of this cationic complex species.
