Original language description

Silver nanowire arrays of different spatial arrangement are prepared by shadow evaporation of metal on laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSS). Periodicity and cross-section of nanowires are controlled via periodicity of LIPSS prior to silver deposition and by the thickness of deposited metal. Optical properties of nanowire arrays are evaluated by measuring their UV-Vis absorption spectra.
