Original language description
Creep resistant steel P91 is very often used as construction material in modern power plants. Corrosion and oxidation behaviour of this steel was studied using electrochemical, exposure and short-term oxidation tests. Moreover, different structural states were compared. Dissimilar temperature dependence of corrosion rate in distilled water and strong oxidizing environment was shown. Long-term heating was proven to deteriorate corrosion and oxidation resistance of steel P91.
