The main goal of this contribution is to present some application possibilities of nano ZnO in different industry segments (rubber, coatings, plastics etc.). From our experiments nano ZnO seems to be a very interesting substitute of ordinary zinc oxide,due to its better functional properties (vulcanizing, antimicrobial etc.).
