Original language description

Laboratory experiments provided an evidence of undesirable effects of excessive propylene in propane stream recycled to a steam cracking unit. Not only the propylene leads to coke precursors and coke, with little preference for desired products, but it also decreases the conversion of other species, therefore increasing the unit demand for the heating. Using the combined approach, the data was also scaled up to a process conditions that can be compared to those of process experiments.
