Within the framework of bachelor and semester thesis of the programme "Restoration and conservation of arts and crafts objects of glass and ceramic" at the Department of Glass and Ceramic, University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (UCT Prague), students restored a total of 15 objects: two urns, three bottles, four beakers, two bowls, one plate, a jug and a bracelet.1 Two very similar modern-age amphoriskois were also restored and analysed as part of a semestral work, and a sample of cameo glass from the Römisch-Germanisches Museum was analysed (see Tab. 1a-c).3 A goblet from Syria (Tab. 1c: A3, LH-08) was restored at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (MDA).
